High-protein convenience brand The Gym Kitchen has expanded its chilled and food-to-go portfolio with a raft of new product launches and retail listings across Tesco and Asda.

 

The latest NPD wave includes a new Lemon Cheesecake Yogurt, a Meat Feast Pasta food-to-go line and a Herby Chicken chilled ready meal.

 

Rolling out in Tesco this week, the Lemon Cheesecake Yogurt is designed to tap into demand for functional snacking and healthier dessert options, delivering 20g of protein per pot. The launch supports breakfast, post-workout and evening snacking occasions, categories seeing continued growth within the high-protein sector.

 

Also debuting in Tesco is the Meat Feast Pasta, a new addition to The Gym Kitchen’s expanding food-to-go range. Positioned within meal deal occasions, the pasta pot contains 28g of protein per serving and targets shoppers seeking convenient, protein-led lunch solutions.

 

Meanwhile, Asda has listed the new Herby Chicken chilled ready meal, which combines roasted and sweet potatoes with green vegetables and delivers 27g of protein alongside two of the recommended five-a-day portions.

 

The launches come alongside wider distribution gains for existing lines, including the BBQ Chicken Pasta chilled ready meal in Asda and Ready-to-Eat Meats SKUs Chicken & Chorizo Meatballs and Hot Honey Ham, which are now launching into Tesco Express stores.
