Munawar Faruqui was the first contestant to get eliminated from the circle of shaq in The Traitors Season 2.
The first three episodes of The Traitors Season 2 is here! The Karan Johar-hosted reality show is back, and the first few episodes wasted no time in bringing the drama and deception into the game. Tensions flared high at the first circle of shaq, where Munawar Faruqui openly picked out his guess on Mallika Sherawat as the traitor. But several other contestants picked on Munawar for playing a game like a traitor and eventually voted him out.
Munawar eliminated!
It was the first circle of shaq and Munawar ended up receiving the highest number of votes, which meant he was eliminated. The real traitors were Kullu, Krystle D'Souza, and Harman Singha. Shahneel Gill was recruited as the fourth traitor in the second episode.
Munawar went to the centre of the room and said, “I had expected this to happen to me. I knew I would have to face it. This often happens to me. It is not the first time. This is not the first time that I have been targeted. Call me a soft target or someone too good to be there. I can clearly see through the insecurities of other people, and you will see how end up looking. Because your insecurities will be visible. You approached me as a friend and heard me out, but now you wrote my name here. Thank you for that.”
Munawar lashes out at the gang
When Karan asked him to reveal the truth about himself- whether he is a traitor or an innocent- Munawar appeared emotional and added, “F*** off, guys! I was playing the game! I wanted to play it well! I am an innocent! F*** off, insecure bunch of people. They thought I would eat them up here. They are all scared. Now recognise who is the one amongst you.”
The celebrity line-up this season includes Aaditya Kulshreshth (Kullu), Abhishek Malhan (Fukraa Insaan), Ansh Chopra, Dalip Tahil, Harman Singha, Ikka Singh, Karan Singh Magic, Krystle D’Souza, Mallika Sherawat, Parul Gulati, Prish and Ranveer Brar. Rhea Chakraborty, Rida Tharana, Sahil Salathia, Shahneel Gill, Shalini Passi, Shweta Tiwari, Soundous Moufakir and Tanya Puri are also part of the new season.Dalip Tahil was out of the game on the first day after he tried to stand out from the rest and at the end of a twist, received the least number of gold coins. Meanwhile, Karan Singh Magic was the first contestant to get murdered by the traitors. The Traitors season 2 is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
