Apparel manufacturer Page Industries Ltd reported a 7.9% year-on-year increase in revenue from operations to ₹1,420.44 crore in the first quarter of FY27, compared with ₹1,316.56 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.

Despite the revenue growth, the company’s net profit declined 4% to ₹192.80 crore in the June quarter, from ₹200.80 crore in the April-June period of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing.

Sales volume grew 5.7% year-on-year to 61.2 million pieces during the quarter, Page Industries said in its earnings statement.

Total income increased 7.48% year-on-year to ₹1,431.05 crore in Q1 FY27, while total expenses rose 10.5% to ₹1,172.48 crore.

Commenting on the outlook, Managing Director V S Ganesh said, “Encouraging consumer demand trends, positive acceptance of product enhancements and new product lines, and our focused operational excellence initiatives give us confidence as we look ahead to the rest of the year.”

The company expects consumer demand to remain strong through the year, supported by market trends and continued brand relevance. It plans to introduce newer product lines targeting younger consumers while focusing on operational excellence and digitalisation across key value streams.

“The company’s focus on operational excellence, digitalisation across key value streams, and the gradual ramp-up of new production facilities is expected to further enhance efficiency, agility and long-term growth,” Ganesh said.

Page Industries is the exclusive licensee of Jockey International Inc (USA) for India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Oman, Qatar, Maldives, Bhutan and the UAE.
